Eternum Online is a free browser MMORPG or MUD. Unlike other contemporary web based games, Eternum displays the playing-world in a real-time graphical format rather than a text based format. This makes the game more comparable to standalone titles such as World of Warcraft and Runescape than Utopia or Lands of Hope.
Eternum Online
Eternum offers players many of the functions considered standard in the MMORPG genre such as the ability to fight monsters, quest, trade and craft items. [1] It also offers the controversial concept of 'open PVP' combat; allowing players to attack each other at will outside of towns and cities. The issue of players griefing others by abusing this system is controlled by a player reputation system and harsh penalties for PKing.
